On March 9, Spud Valley Nordics Ski Club hosted the fourth and final Teck Coast Cup team sprint race of the season at Whistler Olympic Park (WOP). An unprecedented 233 racers spanning the U6 to masters age divisions gritted through copious amounts of rain and wet snow, with Hollyburn Cross-Country Ski Club earning the series regional aggregate award.
The race put athletes into teams of two, each skiing three laps of a sprint course which varied in length depending on age. Here are all the podiums with local content:

"Once again the team sprint race format was a favourite and brought together a record number of racers to celebrate the sport of cross country skiing. Hosting such an event requires a huge volunteer and collaborative effort that truly displays the heart of the sport. Thank you, volunteers, coaches, racers, and Whistler Olympic Park!" said chief of competition Delores Los in a press release.
Other clubs represented in the field include Whistler Nordics, the Strathcona Nordic Ski Club and Nordic Racers.
