Saudan Couloir Extreme returns

Jordan, Penfield, Prefontaine and Niblock clocked the fastest times in their respective divisions

The Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme returned last Friday in Whistler, and it was as gnarly as ever with a 3.3-kilometre course, 639 metres of elevation drop and 75 gates. 

Asher Jordan notched the fastest overall time among men's skiers at two minutes and 23.08 seconds, while Jonathan Penfield set the male snowboarding benchmark (3:11.27). On the ladies' side it was Marie-Pier Prefontaine holding the ski speed record (2:44.47) and Sara Niblock doing the same for snowboarders (4:04.02).
