The Whistler Mountain Ski Club will provide six of 10 members to the B.C. Team for the upcoming Sierra Wireless Air Canada Whistler Cup, running from April 5 to 7 in Whistler.
Representing the K2 Boys (age 13 and 14) are Whistler’s Darren Chaddock and Mathew Holler, as well as Jason Serwa from Big White.
The K2 Girls’ team will be anchored by local racers Allison Leighton and Kendall Benbow, and Jennifer Graham from Mt. Washington.
The K1 Boys (age 11 and 12) will include Whistler’s Morgan Pridy and Trevor Rose from Windermere.
Whistler racer Jennifer Mah will ski with Willi Terweil of Sun Peaks in the K1 Girls.
At the club level, Whistler will field dozens of athletes in the cup races at both the K1 and K2 level.
