Two Whistlerites are making their way to the 2025 FIS Junior World Ski Cross Championships.

Anne-Marie Joncas won two silver medals at a December Nor-Am race in Nakiska, Alta., made her Europa Cup debut in Lenk, Switzerland, and represented the University of Calgary at the World University Games where she placed fourth. Her most recent podium result was a late February bronze in Gore Mountain, N.Y. She is also a U19 Canadian champ from last year and a Winter Youth Olympics alum.

Nicholas Katrusiak, a member of Canada's NextGen squad, hopes to add to his Junior Worlds trophy case. He won two silver medals in last year's competition (one individual, one in the team discipline alongside fellow local Emeline Bennett).

The upcoming Junior Worlds will take place between April 4 and 6 at Isola 2000, just north of Nice, France.
