An Arctic airmass has made its way to B.C., and the Pemberton Valley is feeling the chill.
Fortunately, North Arm Farm will be extending its opening hours for a free campfire on select dates, starting Jan. 28 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The farm is aiming to host monthly fires, so long as there are no bans in place.
This marks the first time North Arm is extending past its regular business hours for a public event.
“There will be hot dogs and marshmallows for sale to roast over the fire,” North Arm's venue manager Robyn Dodwell told Pique.
“Our farm kitchen will be open with a limited menu and we will be serving from our regular drink menu, too—hot chocolates, hot apple cider, coffees [and teas]. We now also stock non-alcoholic beer for the parents to enjoy by the fire.”
The farm is still looking for musicians to serenade attendees. Prospective musical acts are invited to reach out at [email protected].
