The Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club will host the first Teck Coast Cup of the season on Dec. 17 in Callaghan Valley. The event will include mass-start free technique (skate or classic) races for skiers of various ages and abilities.
U6 participants will ski a 300-metre course while Masters skiers (ages 30 and up) will tackle 7.5 kilometres. Parasitting and parastanding categories will also be featured.
Each athlete who completes the race scores valuable points for their club. The organization with the most points at season's end will be awarded the coveted Cross Country BC’s Club Aggregate Award.
