This year's Freeride World Tour (FWT) will officially kick off the Spanish Pyrenees, and two familiar faces are expected to drop in.

Both Marcus Goguen and Wei Tien Ho are readying themselves for the campaign opener in Baqueira Beret: a venue that didn't host an event in 2024 due to lack of snow. When Mother Nature cooperates, however, the Tuc de Baciver is a formidable peak looming 2,644 metres above sea level. It's also full of technical features to challenge Earth's best freeriders.

Goguen is no stranger to success, for he ended up second overall in last year's FWT rankings. Meanwhile Ho is raring to maximize his wildcard berth and elevate his own profile in the sport.

The Baqueira Beret Pro will be held from Jan. 18 to 23. More details are available here.
