This year's BC Cup is in the books, and local athletes lit it up once more this weekend at the Coast Gravity Park finals in Sechelt.

Mack Manietta wrapped up a tremendous season with silver among U15 boys (2:14.22). He wasn't able to outperform gold medallist Sebastien Harrisson (2:12.13), but did lock down an overall circuit title. Chase Riggs took bronze (2:15.54).

Glory also went to Ruby Wells (2:26.36), the U15 girls' rankings leader who edged out runner-up Arleigh Kemp (2:27.46). Megan Pretorious was a distant third (2:54.96).

A Whistler podium sweep took place in the junior sport men's division courtesy of Grayson Barth (2:15.75), Nate Lawrence (2:18.52) and Ryan Bedard (2:22.81) in that order.

Benny de Vall rose to the top of the UCI junior expert men's category (2:09.78), with Jonah Rickard (2:14.35) sneaking ahead of Jordan Evans (2:14.95) for second.

Megan Bedard (2:27.39) and Mhairi Smart (2:38.21) combined for a two-three finish, though neither could catch UCI junior women's champ Geza Rodgers (2:26.52)

In the U17 women's race it was Tayte Proulx-Royds (2:25.58) emerging victorious in a razor-thin duel with Cami Bragg (2:26.05) and Caileigh Koppang (2:27.03).

Mateo Quist (U17 expert men) and Tobia Gadotti (U17 sport men) both clinched bronze medals.
