Keep an eye on Calgary this weekend as a few notable locals partake in the fifth annual Snow Rodeo.
FIS World Cup medals and points are on the line as Olympic and X Games legend Mark McMorris, fresh off his 24th medal in Aspen, goes for slopestyle glory against Cameron Spalding (the incumbent World Cup overall leader), Liam Brearley (Canada's first Crystal Globe recipient) and Sea to Sky products Truth Smith, Keenan Demchuk and Tosh Krauskopf.
Shredder sisters Juliette and Amalia Pelchat are in on the ladies' slopestyle side, where they'll take on 2018 Olympic silver medallist Laurie Blouin and various international contenders.
All of the above will drop in on Feb. 22 as their halfpipe peers compete a day earlier. Canadians in the halfpipe include Liam Gill, Elizabeth Hosking and Brooke D'Hondt.
