Lukas Bennett prepares to drink a shoey after winning gold at the 2024 Freeride Junior World Championships.

Lukas Bennett has spent the past year in Verbier, Switzerland, and he wants people to catch a glimpse of what he's been up to.

The Whistler Freeride Club (WFC) alum reached a new level in his career by prevailing at the most recent Junior World Championships in Kappl, Austria. Next he decided to familiarize himself with Verbier: an area known by many as planet Earth's freeride mecca. Bennett has a Swiss passport and knows French, so in some ways the trip was a no-brainer.

His latest film is called C'est Beau La Vie, Des Cimes Aux Sables or "Life is beautiful, from the peaks to the valleys."

"It was a very special experience; meeting so many rad people, and feeling like I was accepted into a crew...a family even," Bennett said about his time overseas.
