Ring up a 20th anniversary for Crankworx Whistler.

The popular mountain biking brouhaha is due for a return to it's Sea to Sky roots, and it's going to feature an all-new discipline: the Outdoor Research Best Trick contest.

Familiar marquee events include the RockShox Canadian Open Downhill (DH), rescheduled to Aug. 14, and it remains to be seen whether Jakob Jewett can grasp a third straight win on the vaunted 1199 course.

Red Bull Joyride is set to engage two days after the Canadian Open DH. Alma Wiggberg etched her name into history last year as the first female athlete to win a slopestyle competition in Whistler.

Don't forget about the punishing seven-kilometre ordeal that is the Garbanzo DH, conquered in 2024 by local standout Georgia Astle. Other favourites like the Specialized Dual Slalom, Ultimate Pump Track Challenge, Whip-Off World Championship and Canadian Open Enduro will be back too.

Athlete registration opens April 23. Crankworx Whistler itself takes place from Aug. 8 to 17. Click here for more information.
