Bragg, Manietta and Sebastien Harrisson net gold at Red Bull Tennessee National

Xavier Harrisson takes silver in his age group, Bragg fastest overall among women

Four local mountain bike downhillers had a successful outing at the 2025 Red Bull Tennessee National.

As a U18, Cami Bragg punched above her age category in notching the fastest time by any woman athlete: three minutes and 2.20 seconds. That was roughly three seconds better than pro ladies' champ Aletha Ostgaard (3:05.33) and well ahead of Bragg's fellow podium finishers Sophie Gregory (3:14.56) and Raina Logar (3:15.36).

Mack Manietta followed up his quartet of wins at the Cannonball MTB Festival with another golden performance in the boys' 11-14 division (3:01.82), making the most of his red flag-necessitated rerun. Nipping at his heels for silver was Xavier Harrisson (3:05.22) and Ian Brunetti (3:20.87) did enough to claim bronze.

In the boys' 15-16 event it was Sebastien Harrisson (3:03.47) on top of Sacha Brizin (3:03.76) and Griffin Clayton (3:05.32) in that order.

Manietta's father, Kristian, revealed in an email to Pique Newsmagazine that his son fell ill shortly before seeding. He managed to qualify in first despite throwing up multiple times during his run. All riders faced tough conditions on race day, with substantial precipitation making the ground feel like ice.
