Anthony Shelly is three for three at Phat Wednesdays.
Shelly managed his third consecutive victory on the Whistler regional circuit on June 5, reaching the line in three minutes, 21.30 seconds in the boys' age 14 to 16 event. Runner-up Maximiliano Caro was not far behind (3:24.50) and Joey Delesalle completed the podium (3:27.50).
As of this week, Shelly continues to lead the series standings for his age group, with 750 points. Mateo Quist is in second with 525, and Cody Kelly's 410 is good enough for third.
Meanwhile, Arleigh Kemp prevailed in the girls' age 10-16 race (3:56.90), besting silver medallist Ruby Wells (3:58.30) and bronze medallist Caileigh Koppang (4:05.50). This is only the second time in four races that Koppang hasn't won, and she's still yet to miss the podium entirely.
For her dominance, Koppang has scored 860 points for top spot in series rankings, well clear of Mhairi Smart with 730. Wells moves into third with 705 points, and Kemp stays in fourth with 680 despite her recent victory.
