Whistler has long had a reputation for providing some of the best dining options in Canada, and this year, reviewers on yelp.com are making it official.
A pair of local restaurants cracked Yelp's Top 100 for 2024: Rimrock Café in sixth, and Red Door Bistro in 32nd. Up the road in Pemberton, Mile One Eating House landed in 33rd.
"No gatekeeping here! Every year, we ask our vast community of Yelpers to share their favourite restaurants, and today, we are excited to share Canada’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024," wrote Yelp's Brenna Falvey in sharing the news.
"From local family-friendly faves to high-end dining, our ninth annual list features options for any foodie’s taste or preference."
Toronto's Chen Chen Nashville Hot Chicken took the top spot, followed by Quebec fine-dining spot Buvette Scott. Vancouver Mediterranean joint Manoush'eh rounded out the top 3.
"To determine Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024, Yelp’s data science team starts by using the data generated from our community submissions," Falvey said. "From the candidate restaurants, we narrow the list down with the expertise of our community managers and Trend Expert to curate a list as quirky, interesting and unique as the Yelp Community itself. If a business with multiple locations appears more than once on the list, we keep the highest ranked location."
