School’s back and there’s no snow yet, so it’s shoulder season—and the Whistler Blackcomb turkey sale is coming to get the keeners ready for what’s to come.
The annual "turkey sale" has been a local fan favourite for 30 years now, and is described as “legendary” by Whistler Blackcomb.
“The popular event has become a Sea to Sky mainstay and the biggest sale of the year, with savings of up to 60 per cent on select new and gently used winter and bike gear, winter apparel, footwear, accessories and more,” reads a Sept.11 release.
“Whether you’re new to skiing, snowboarding and biking, or a 'snowficionado' looking to upgrade your quiver or wardrobe, Whistler Blackcomb’s Turkey Sale has something for everyone with maximum savings to be had.”
The sale starts Oct. 4 and runs through to Oct. 14 at the following locations: Essentially Blackcomb, Showcase, the Whistler Blackcomb Outlet Stores (Whistler and Squamish locations), and Can-Ski Hilton.
Plenty of time to get ready then: Whistler Blackcomb has forecast a Nov. 22 opening day for the 2024-25 season.
