With a snowfall warning in effect for Whistler and the Sea to Sky, Whistler Blackcomb (WB) could see its first big dump of 2023 this weekend. The mountain operator shared an update with guests via social media on Saturday morning.
"Heading into this afternoon, snowfall is expected to pick up and carry out overnight and into Sunday. As such, expect winter conditions on the mountain. We hope you enjoy some fresh pow!" it read.
"As a reminder, the Peak 2 Valley race will also be taking place today on Whistler Mountain. Guests should expect closures throughout trail sections from the top of The Saddle through to Creekside."
WB is also extending lift closing times through the end of season, the update said.
