Marcus Goguen once again turned heads at the Freeride World Tour March 1.

At the 2025 Georgia Pro, Goguen took on the Kakhiani face in the Tetnuldi region, a towering 3,170 metres with a 330-m vertical drop—and he did it in style. His close to perfect score (92.33 points) came from achieving a 360 into a cork 720, then finishing with a screaming semen grab, where he clutched first place in men’s skiing.

Commentators for the event said Goguen, a member of the Whistler Freeride Club, was up against illness in the days leading up to dropping in, but that clearly didn’t stop him from achieving greatness once again.

Goguen also placed 1st in the KH Golden BC Pro, 1st in the 2024 Xtreme Verbier and 1st in last year’s Georgia Pro. The 20-year-old is ranked 1st overall this season, accruing 27,920 points.

Other winners for the day included Cody Bramwell in men’s snowboard, Zuzanna Witych in women’s skiing, and Noémie Equy in women’s snowboard.

The next leg of the tour lands in Austria March 7 to 13 before ending in Switzerland March 22 to 30.
