Advance voting opens today in Whistler

Whistlerites can cast a ballot April 18 to 21

If you caught last night's federal leaders debate and have heard enough to make your choice, there's no sense in waiting: advance polls are open in Whistler and across the country today through Monday, April 21.

Your polling station is determined by where you live. Voters must vote at the polling station to which they are assigned, so plug your postal code into the search form here to find your advance polling station, or refer to the voter information card you should have received in the mail.

To vote in the election you must be a Canadian citizen; at least 18 years old on election day; and prove your identity and address. Head to elections.ca for a full list of accepted IDs.

You can read up on Whistler's candidates, and all the latest federal election headlines, here, and if you need more time to make a decision, Whistler's all-candidates meeting on April 22 should help narrow the field.

Check back with Pique this week for Q&As with all the local candidates.

Election day is Monday, April 28.
