The Whistler Writers Festival (WWF) is again seeking authors and publishers to join its lineup.
Traditionally-published writers residing in the Sea to Sky can submit an application online or have their publicist reach out to artistic director Rebecca Wood Barrett. Those living outside the region are also advised to connect their publicists with Wood Barrett.
A WWF email reads: "We love to hear from publishers and authors, and value your interest in being a part of the festival. Our vision is to engage and celebrate emerging and established authors, side by side, and shine a light on both. Our priority is to feature Canadian literary authors and storytellers living in the Sea to Sky corridor."
Self-published individuals can apply through the means described above (if local) or by way of the Whistler Independent Book Awards (WIBA). These are recognized as a premier juried contest for Canadian self-published works.
Guest author submissions close March 31, and the WIBA remains open until April 30.
