Multiculturalism Day is back with a Cultural Crossings Art Party at the Maury Young Arts Centre.

On June 27, a variety of immigrant artists and Sea to Sky newcomers will be on hand for an evening of live music, culturally authentic cuisine, dance, art and stories of how they journeyed to Canada.

While donations are welcome, the event is free to all members of the public and runs on Thursday night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Cultural Crossings is an organization that invites creative-minded people to share artwork that reflects their own experiences with migration and adapting to a new home. Some pieces may directly embody an artist's home country or society, while others touch on the impact of Canadian culture.
