Hockey Canada invites 32 players to national junior team selection camp

CALGARY — Hockey Canada is inviting 32 players to the national junior team selection camp next week in Ottawa. Four goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 18 forwards are on the list for the four-day camp starting Dec. 10 at TD Place.

CALGARY — Hockey Canada is inviting 32 players to the national junior team selection camp next week in Ottawa.

Four goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 18 forwards are on the list for the four-day camp starting Dec. 10 at TD Place.

The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship begins on Boxing Day with four games.

Canada will open the preliminary round that night against Finland at Canadian Tire Centre.

Seven players from last year's world junior team are on the invite list.

Canada lost to Czechia in the quarterfinals of the 2024 tournament in Sweden.
