OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks will be taking their training camp on the road.

The CFL club announced Thursday it will hold this year's camp at Queen's University in Kingston, Ont. It's the first time the club will be holding its camp outside of Ottawa.

The Redblacks prepared for their inaugural season in 2014 at Carleton University before shifting their training camp to TD Place.

"We're excited for the opportunity to come together at Queen’s for our 2025 training camp," Ottawa general manager Shawn Burke said in a statement. "We're grateful to have the opportunity to utilize their first-class facilities to prepare as a team for the 2025 season."

Ottawa will open camp May 11 at Richardson Stadium. The club's exhibition game May 30 versus the Montreal Alouettes will remain at TD Place.

Ottawa will open the 2025 season on the road June 5 versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
