18-year-old from Quebec charged with murder in death of N.W.T. man

RCMP say an 18-year-old from Quebec has been charged in the death of a man in the Northwest Territories.

Mounties were called out to a property in Fort Good Hope, a community two and a half hours away by plane from Yellowknife, on Feb. 25 for a sudden death call.

Police say they found a 29-year-old man dead.

The man's death is being treated as a homicide.

With help from RCMP in Quebec, an 18-year-old was arrested in Montreal last week and has been charged with murder.

RCMP say an investigation revealed the accused was in Fort Good Hope as part of the illicit drug trade.
