Video: Watch the work underway at the Squamish Spit
Squamish conservationist John Buchanan captures the next phase of the Spit removal, which is underway — removing an additional 550 metres of the berm. The work to remove the man-made structure is to improve water flow to the estuary and thus support salmon and other fish.
