Just a few minutes ago, Drive BC tweeted that the incident has been cleared.
"Expect delays as congestion eases," reads the end of the tweet.
Earlier on Tuesday, July 4, Drive BC reported that a vehicle incident between Squamish and Whistler currently had the Sea to Sky Highway closed.
"Vehicle incident has the highway closed in both directions south of Swift Creek Forest Service Rd.," reads an older tweet from Drive BC.
The Drive BC website noted that the incident occurred on Highway 99 between Alice Lake Road and Daisy Lake Road. On the website's map it looked as if the incident occurred just south of the Tantalus Lookout on the highway.
The Squamish Chief will update this story as we learn more.
