Welcome back to your recap of Sea to Sky athletes and their exploits. Crankworx Whistler is but one month away, and it's only fitting that the mountain bikers are showing out around the world.

Jesse Melamed recently added another enduro World Cup victory in Italy to his resume. Not to be outdone, Rhys Verner did the same roughly a week and a half later in Austria.

Over in Switzerland, Finn Iles and Gracey Hemstreet both rode to top-six results on the downhill World Cup circuit.

Much closer to home, Georgia Astle returned to the win column at Phat Wednesdays, the Whistler Blackcomb-hosted series where newcomer Caileigh Koppang continues to make her name.

Pemberton High School has earned its second straight mountain bike provincials banner.

Most recently, Jackson Goldstone edged out Iles for a World Cup bronze medal in Austria.

In other news, the Whistler Wolves rugby club is off to a flying start, and Momentum Camps celebrated its 30th anniversary.
