Aiden Bayliffe is an All-Star.
The Whistler native proved he is a true two-way threat from the back end this year, leading all U18AAA defensemen in the British Columbia Elite Hockey League (BCEHL) with seven goals and 31 assists for 38 points in 34 regular-season games. In so doing, he joined Vancouver North East Chiefs teammate Josh Kelly on the BCEHL All-Star roster.
Bayliffe, a 5-foot-11, 155-pound blueliner, also earned a British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) call-up in January with the West Kelowna Warriors and a spot on the Canadian U18AAA Elite Hockey League (CEHL) Pacific Region Team of the Year. Additionally, he was the Chiefs' BCEHL Player of the Month nominee in December.
"Aiden was a true leader for the Chiefs defensive unit this season," said Vancouver North East representatives in statement released to social media. "Through dedication and work ethic, Aiden led by example all season as the team’s emotional leader, contributing in all areas of the game."
