Whistler goalie Beck Warm has impressed to start his professional career, and the Carolina Hurricanes saw fit to secure his services for the time being.
The 21-year-old signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced on March 6. The deal is worth US$700,000 this year and $750,000 next year at the NHL level, and is worth $60,000 in the American Hockey League (AHL). Warm also received a $50,000 signing bonus.
