Photos: Whistler gymnasts take on Ogopogo

Sienna Osborn notches two personal bests; Kirra Douglas and Maya Langdale also medal in Kelowna

Three Level 7 Sea to Sky athletes earned hardware at the 2024 Ogopogo Spirit of the Lake Invitational in Kelowna, B.C.

Sienna Osborn claimed gold in the floor event and silver in beam to go with fifth on vault. 

"Outstanding meet for Sienna, with two personal bests and medals to match!" said Whistler Gymnastics head coach Karin Jarratt. 

Meanwhile, Kirra Douglas' third-place all-around result came courtesy of her three bronze medals: vault, bars and beam. 

Maya Langdale put together a runner-up beam effort and found herself fourth in floor, vault and bars. She settled just beneath Douglas for fourth all-around.

At Level 6, Sadie Richer managed fifth on vault and sixth on floor. 

The gymnastics season will conclude June 14 to 16 with the the Whistler Summer Classic. Over 400 registered participants and their families will get to look forward to a barbecue, beer garden, athlete dance party and a distinctive outdoor log podium. 

Performances will run all weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Members of the public are invited to watch free of charge.
