It's been five long years since the Garbanzo DH last graced Crankworx Whistler, but riders and fans this week alike flocked back to the uniquely gruelling event in droves.
Many of those supporters were over the moon to watch local folk hero Georgia Astle defy expectations and win her third straight championship. American fans, on the other hand, cheered for Richie Rude as he branched out from enduro to prevail in the men's Garbo race.
