Many riders will say that simply participating in a Crankworx Whip-off World Championship is nearly as much fun as winning a medal there. After all, it is one of the most laissez-faire events on the calendar, with nearly two hours of physics-defying tomfoolery and some hardware handed out at the end. 17-year-old Eddie Reynolds from the United States put himself on the map with gold, while Kiwi Vinny Armstrong returned to the top of the women's podium.
