Kidsworx dual slalom has been a long time coming in Whistler, and on Saturday it finally happened in the shadow of Red Bull Joyride.

The very first girls' age 11-12 champion in this fast-paced new contest is Layne Gibbons, who outmatched runner-up Amy Horswill. Indy Tomic secured her third medal of the week, a bronze after silvers in both enduro and B-Line DH.

Max Darlow struck gold once again after his festival-opening enduro breakthrough. Skye Greene grabbed silver in the 11-12 boys division ahead of bronze medallist Finn Banks.

The girls' 9-10 race was won by Grayce Gibbons ahead of Isabel Howard and Raya Johnson, in that order.

Jaxon Courcelles topped the boys' 9-10 podium, with Thatcher Kee in second and Sam Scott in third.

Amelie Mckay Huck remains undefeated among U8 girls, triumphing once again over Karis Roy in the runner-up hole and third-placer Anja Mccloskey.

U8 boy Max French collected his third Kidsworx gold medal of the year as well, superseding Brecken Larson and Bodie Brown.
