One of Whistler's favourite charities needs your help.
Zero Ceiling, the Whistler-based organization dedicated to ending youth homelessness, is hosting a fundraiser on April 17 at Hunter Gather, with all proceeds going towards supporting Zero Ceiling programming.
From 6 to 9 p.m. on April 17, $1 from every meal or drink purchased (eat-in or take-out) will be donated to Zero Ceiling. Attendees can win a two-night stay at the Journeyman Lodge along with other prizes and adventures. Raffle tickets are just $10, and available at zeroceiling.rafflenexus.com.
"All funds raised will help Zero Ceiling empower marginalized youth to try mountain biking and hiking in Whistler this summer," reads the event description. Sponsors for the event include Hunter Gather, Howe Sound Brewing, Evo, EpicPromise Foundation and Mt Waddington's Outdoors.
Founded in 1997, Zero Ceiling has helped hundreds of underprivileged and homeless youth access winter and summer programming in Whistler since its inception.
