Happy Tuesday, Whistler! Here's how things are shaping up out there so far.

Today's forecast calls for periods of rain with a high of about 10 C in Whistler. A low of 1 C is expected overnight, with a chance of showers. Looking to tomorrow, the forecast calls for a chance of showers, with a high of about 14 C.

On the mountain, Whistler Blackcomb is forecasting mainly cloudy skies with isolated showers, with temperatures around 3 C, and moderate winds. The freezing level sits at about 2,400 metres. The mountain operator is reporting no snow in the past 12 hours, and a base depth of about 283 cm.

WB is reporting 56 groomed runs and 766 acres on Whistler, and 64 groomed runs and 692 acres on Blackcomb.

Both alpine and mid-mountain surface conditions are listed as spring conditions.

"A milder southwesterly flow into the region continues to bring wet flurries occasionally mixed in with showers to the region through the first half of the week with some clear breaks expected today. Beyond midweek something a bit cooler and more seasonal should return beyond, with patchy sporadic flurry activity still expected," WB said in its morning report.

The avalanche danger rating in the Sea to Sky is currently high, according to Avalanche Canada.

"Rain and high freezing levels can trigger avalanches on buried weak layers. Avoid all avalanche terrain during periods of high hazard," the forecaster said on its website.
