Get ready to raise a (tiny, plastic) glass once more: The Whistler Village Beer Festival (WVBF) returns to the resort from Sept. 11 to 17.
The 10th annual instalment of the popular event is being presented in partnership between Gibbons Whistler and Red Door Events Inc., producers of the Brewhalla Beer & Music Festivals. A limited quantity of early-bird tickets for the Main Event on Sat., Sept. 16 are on sale now.
“We’re super excited to bring the Brewhalla brand up to Whistler as we celebrate and highlight the diverse and creative local craft beveragemakers and musicians in this community,” said Lies Reimer, the general manager of Red Door Events Inc., in a release.
The main event on Sept. 16 will feature more than 50 craft beverage manufacturers and more than 100 varieties of cider, beer, canned cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Festivalgoers will also be treated to three local musicians and a DJ. Tickets will include access to the Main Event on Sept. 16, an official WVBF sampling mug, three beer tokens upon entry, and a discounted ticket for Oktoberfest at the Longhorn Saloon.
Aside from the main event, attendees to this year's WVBF can look forward to "seven days of beer-fuelled fun," as organizers put it, with Tap Takeovers, Beer Cocktail parties, fan-favourite events, and more all planned.
