Whistler police shut down a rave near Soo River earlier this month, according to a release.
At about 7 p.m. on July 18, Whistler RCMP and the BC Conservation Officer Service were conducting patrols along the Soo River Forest Service Road after reports of a possible party in the area. Officers located approximately 75 vehicles parked at the seven-kilometre marker of the road and roughly 100 people on the road and in the nearby woods.
The event was shut down and DJ equipment was removed from the scene, police said. The incident is still under investigation.
