Hot, sunny summer weather is still (mostly) on hold for Whistler this weekend.
Though the sun might make a few appearances throughout the day, Whistler's forecast is calling mostly for cloudy skies throughout the afternoon Saturday, coupled with a 30 per cent chance of showers. If you're heading out on a weekend camping trip, make sure to pack a puffy: the temperature will hit a high of 19 degrees C in Whistler today, but is expected to drop to a low of 11 overnight. The chance of showers will rise to 60 per cent this evening, according to Environment Canada.
Sunday's forecast is looking similar, with Environment Canada predicting cloudy conditions and a 60 per cent of showers throughout the day, with a high of 18 degrees C. The temperature is expected to hit a low of 10 degrees C overnight on Sunday, with a 30 per cent chance of rainfall.
The good news?
Full-blown summer is expected to make its return on Monday, with clear, sunny conditions and temperatures reaching into the mid- to high-twenties to start the work week.
