Two Whistler hotels have won accolades at the 2024 World Ski Awards.
Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside has once again been named Canada’s Best Ski Hotel for the 12th year in a row, and Summit Lodge won Canada’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel.
The World Ski Awards launched in 2013 and celebrates ski resorts, hotels and chalets in 25 nations that lead the way for ski tourism. Voting for the awards comes from ski-industry professionals and the public, with a first-past-the-post or winner-takes-all system.
In a press release from Pan Pacific, general manager Julie Lanteigne expressed her gratitude for the honour.
“We are thrilled and truly grateful to be recognized as ‘Canada’s Best Ski Hotel’ for the 12th consecutive year,” said Lanteigne.
“We want to thank our dedicated team for consistently delivering a memorable experience for our guests every day, and we also extend our gratitude to everyone who took the time to vote for us. We look forward to honouring this award and continuing our commitment to quality service through this winter and beyond.”
Other contenders from Whistler vying for Canada’s Best Ski hotel included nominations for Fairmont Chateau Whistler and the Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler.
For Canada’s Best Boutique Hotel, Nita Lake Lodge, Adara Hotel and Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre were also nominated.
