More than 2,000 Whistlerites will be without power for several hours Thursday evening, Oct. 17, thanks to a planned power outage, according to BC Hydro.
The outage will affect 2,070 BC Hydro customers in the areas of Nordic, Brio and Alta Vista.
Planned so BC Hydro can do work on its equipment, the outage is slated to start at 7 p.m. and estimated to end by 11 p.m.
