PHOTOS: Meet the adorable faces in the running to appear in WAG's 2023 calendar

Sure, every pet owner thinks their dog or cat is the most precious, most photogenic, goofiest, floofiest floof to ever appear in an iPhone camera roll. 

But yours really is. It's just a fact. 

Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) is offering pet parents the chance to prove it with its annual calendar photo contest and fundraising campaign, which kicked off earlier this month. 

The local animal shelter is inviting dog and cat owners to take a picture of their pet enjoying themselves on a summer adventure and submit it to the contest before July 31 at 3 p.m. for a chance to win some impressive prizes, and for a chance to see their dog or cat appear in WAG's 2023 Calendar as the featured pet for the month of July.

The rules: Donate a minimum of $20 per photo and send it via e-transfer to [email protected], specifying your name and Summer Calendar Contest in the e-transfer notes, before emailing the photo of your pet to [email protected]. Photos must be high-resolution and should be submitted in landscape format.
