On April 1, the Lil’wat Business Group (LBG) held a job fair and open house at the Ts’zil Learning Centre. The event offered job seekers the chance to connect directly with hiring managers across multiple industries with more than 50 positions available—"from firefighters and construction workers to retail staff and forestry professionals,” according to a statement from the Nation.
“The Lil’wat Business Group job fair was a tremendous success, drawing over 150 attendees from Whistler to Mount Currie,” said LBG CEO Rosemary Stager. “With numerous projects underway and even more on the horizon, we are thrilled to play a role in creating jobs that benefit the entire Sea to Sky community.”
The Nation’s next event is the grand opening of the newly acquired Hitching Post Motel on April 7 at noon.
