A Pemberton school bus route is cancelled tomorrow morning, Friday, March, 1, due to a staffing shortage. The Area #5 route, which transports students from Owl Ridge, Reid Road and Mount Currie to Pemberton Secondary and Signal Hill Elementary, is affected.
SD48 Bussing wrote an email to parents informing them of the cancellation.
“We understand that the bus cancellations due to the shortage of bus drivers continue to inconvenience the daily routines of our families and we appreciate everyone’s understanding while we navigate these challenging times,” they wrote. “We are actively looking for ways to help resolve the issue at hand.”
