A multi-vehicle accident is slowing traffic on Highway 99 south of Whistler.
According to posts in the Sea to Sky Road Conditions Facebook group, the accident occurred near power line hill, and emergency crews are en route.
A travel advisory remains in place for the Sea to Sky Highway, as a snowfall warning is in effect for the region.
"Heavy snow forecasted beginning Sat into Sun," it reads. "Travellers should expect rapidly deteriorating conditions, consider changing travel plans, be prepared for closures on short notice. Travel not recommended unless absolutely necessary."
Users in the Sea to Sky Road Conditions Facebook group are reporting precarious conditions, and advising other drivers to stay off the road if possible.
