The Meadow Park Sports Centre (MPSC) will reopen its pool to public swimming next Thursday, Sept. 22, according to the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
This includes the lap pool, kids’ pool, hot tub, stream room and sauna. The pool had been closed since late last month.
The pool stayed closed an additional couple of weeks beyond the closure of the entire MPSC facility, which reopened Sept. 6 after some maintenance work.
The Whistler Sea Wolves continue its partnership with the municipality “to deliver quality swimming programs to the community” for the 2022-23 season. To support that program, the Sea Wolves will have exclusive access to the entire lap pool at select times of the week: Mondays from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays from 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.; Wednesdays from 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.; Thursdays from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.; and Fridays from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Specific pool hours of operation are available in the monthly Swim, Skate and Fitness schedule at whistler.ca/mpsc. Schedules are subject to change due to statutory and seasonal holidays, or operational needs.
