The rainfall promised for Whistler has yet to materialize so far this Thursday morning, with precipitation still falling as snow in the Whistler Valley.
Traffic on Highway 99 was moving cautiously as of 9:30 a.m., with slushy and icy conditions and a small backup of vehicles headed northbound from Function Junction to Creekside.
