Whistler's Glacier Express chairlift will soon start turning once again.
Whistler Blackcomb (WB) announced on Instagram the replacement part for the broken lift has arrived and lift maintenance teams have finished repairs.
“The gearbox is now being transported to the drive terminal for installation. Starting tomorrow, the lift will run intermittently as the gearbox is tested and any final adjustments are made,” the post said.
After Glacier Express is confirmed fully operational, guests can expect to hop on once again.
WB thanked the maintenance team for their work and guests for their patience.
The chairlift has been out of commission since Jan. 22.
