Brother Twang plays the Pemho Pub on Jan. 11.

Missing the celebratory energy of New Year's Eve? Brother Twang has got you covered. The Whistler rock band is kicking 2025 off with a live show at the Pemho Pub on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Since performing at the 2008 Pemberton Music Festival alongside the likes of Tom Petty and the Tragically Hip, the band boasts having become "practically through default, Whistler's quintessential rock band"—an assessment Pique agreed with after the band's second album released in 2011.

The band comprises Todd Vague on drums, Jay Romany on vocals and guitar, George Skoupas on lead guitar and backup vocals, and Derek Stembridge on bass.

The show runs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Advance tickets are $15, available at pemho.com/events. Tickets are $20 at the door.
