Squamish birder Chris Dale captured this footage on Aug. 21 of a scissor-tailed flycatcher found by Ellen Ramsay along the Valley Trail by Green Lake in Whistler.
"Very rare for British Columbia and normally found along the southern United States from Texas to Florida," he told The Squamish Chief.
