Nominations are officially open for the 2021 Whistler Excellence Awards, the resort’s annual gala celebrating the best and brightest in business, philanthropy, and arts.
Nominations for the following categories are open until May 9:
• Sustainability in Action Business
• Innovative Business of the Year
• Business Person of the Year
• Citizen of the Year
• Rising Star of the Year
• Whistler Champion of Arts & Culture
• Resilient Business of the Year
• Service Excellence-Large Business
•Service Excellence-Small Business
All nominees must be located in Whistler, consent to the nomination and publication of their name, must not have won the award in the past five years, and must be a Whistler Chamber member in good standing.
Produced by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, this year will mark the second virtual edition of the awards, with a final video of all the winners slated for release on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m.
