Coast Outdoors Payak XC Ski Loppet

Now in its 15th year, the Coast Outdoors P’ayakentsut, or “Payak” for short, is truly an event for all ages and all levels of cross country skiers. Traversing Olympic legacy trails as well as old growth forests, the loppet offers participants a chance to train, to meet new friends, to enjoy the rugged wild beauty of the Callaghan Valley, and to enjoy what is truly a sport for life – cross country skiing.

Natural Selection Tour Duel

Designed by pro snowboarder Travis Rice to inspire a deeper connection to Mother Nature, the Natural Selection Tour (NST) sees the world’s greatest snowboarders compete in duels at six notable mountain venues worldwide. In a first-ever in the history of NST, pro snowboarders Bjorn Leines and Brin Alexander go toe to toe in a foot-powered NST battle in the backcountry of the Callaghan, just 30 minutes south of Whistler Village. With its breathtaking terrain, untouched powder, and rich backcountry history, The Callaghan is the ideal venue for this showdown. While there is no in-person spectating for this event, catch all the duel action on Red Bull TV, streaming February 24.
